Urban sprawl: Rural residents In Northeast Sarasota County Sue Over Lakewood Ranch Expansion

Two residents of northeast Sarasota County (residents of Bern Creek Ranches) have filed an administrative appeal to block county action that would allow Lakewood Ranch to develop 5,000 homes on 4,100 acres.
